Alphonse IX of León

Alphonse IX of León , born in 1166 or 1171, died in 1230.

It was king de León and of Galicia of 1188 with 1230.

It was wire of Ferdinand II (v. 1145-1188), king de León and of Galicia (1157-1188) (and regent of Castille during the minority of Alphonse VIII of Castille), and Urraque of Portugal.

He married in second weddings his close cousin Bérengère de Castille (1181-1244), regent (1214-1217) then queen (1217) of Castille, girl of Alphonse VIII, but, due to non-observance of the guns on consanguinity, had to separate from her after the birth of several children.

Scrambled with their son Ferdinand III of Castille after the accession of this one with the throne of Castille in 1217, he wanted to disinherit it, but its wills were not respected.
