Alpaca (fiber)

The Alpaga is the textile Fiber given by the LAMA pacos (or Alpaga). The term indicates indifferently the Laine or the fabric produces with the hairs of this animal.
The Laine of alpaca is a Fiber of very high range, softer, hotter, more resistant and lighter than wool of Mouton. One can mow the animal every year, but its fleece can be kept two even three years. The hairs measure from 15 to 20 cm length and the animal gives from 2 to 3 kg of hairs per annum.
The fabric is woven out of wool of alpaca pure or mixed with other fibers.
