Alms
The alms is money which one gives to the poor, beggars, etc in exchange of nothing. When one gives it to the church, one calls it Offrande.
In the majority of the religions, alms is regarded as an offering with God. It is used to release that which offers it Péché and to compensate for its ill deeds, in order not to suffer from the remorses as conscience.
In the Islamic religion, there exists the obligatory alms what is called (Zakat) which one directly pays each year through the State (with the ministry for the Religious affairs) or very, with the poor, stripped, needy, the new converts whose faith is not yet firm, for the release of the slaves and the prisoners, with surendettés, the people who deal with collecting zakât it, with the travellers in distress and to help in the path of God or even with the family (except for those which are with its load).
