Allowance of the resources
The allowance of the resources is an economic concept which relates to the use of the rare resources and in particular the factors of production (work, capital, raw materials) to in the short and long term satisfy the needs for consumption of the population.
This allowance is the fact at the same time
- deprived economic agents, in particular the decisions of production of the companies, those of the contributors of capital, etc
- of the public authorities, which carry out expenditure and take taxes to finance services " not marchands" like justice, the police force, certain common infrastructures (roadway system…) essential to the operation of the company.
Economy and allowances
The economy it even, as a field of knowledge, has as a role to study the way in which are allocated (and created) the rare resources.
This allowance requires, as soon as the economic activity reached a certain size and complexity, to define a mode of Arbitrage other than the war or the plunder, and thus of the adapted social institutions.
This arbitration is made in a more or less free way
- by the means of the Prix of Marché, the operation of these markets them being even formalized by legal provisions.
- or by the administrations of State, using rules or of laws.
In a narrower direction, the allowance of the resources can relate to
- the arbitration between various the factors of production,
- even the choices and proportionings to be made inside a type of factor (par exemple' allowance of the capitaux' between various investments: to see " below; the allowance of actifs")
Financial approach: the allowance of credits
The allowance of credits is a technique of Gestion of inheritance or wallet consisting in periodically re-examining the composition of the wallet by " classes of credits " (in other words by types of placement: obligations, actions, derivative products…)
