Alliteration
The alliteration is a Stylistic device in which a consonant sound is repeated in several close words. Alliteration is usually used in Poésie, but is also common in Prose, particularly for short sentences.
Well-known examples of alliteration are the sentences which one repeats quickly to involve with diction (“Virelangue S”), such as: “Are a hunter knowing to drive out must know to drive out without its dog” “the socks of the archduchess dry or bone-dry? ” (both of alliterations in CH and S ).
The generally quoted literary example is it worms of Andromaque of Racine (act V, scene 5): “For which is these snakes which whistle on your heads? ” (one can speak here about Onomatopoeia). Or “a system that saucissone not”.
A tirade stuffed with alliterations in V is that initial of V, the main character of V for Vendetta. It is entirely quoted in the article on the film drawn from data base.
Another good example is the worms according to: “The beautiful boa bucket with the bottom of the baobab tree”. Some claim that its author is Pierre Dac, others allot it to Paul Valéry. “Please cease your foolish stupidities without delay”, or “Please cease céant these sour assertions”, or “Enough! Ca it is censured! These fates are judicious to remain secret” are other alliterations of the Saga MP3 Reflets of Acid. Finally let us quote the famous last Virelangue: “Did Uncle, your the remove you your cough? ”. Alliteration makes the sentences outstanding and is frequently used in the titles, names of companies, Publicité S, etc
