Alliance of the forces of progress
the Alliance of the forces of progress (AFP) is a political party Senegalese, of which the leader is Moustapha Niasse, civil administrator, former minister and Prime Minister.
History
AFP is resulting from a scission of with the Socialist party and receives its legal recognition on August 13rd 1999.Its founder, Moustapha Niasse, collect 16,8% of the voices at the time of the presidential election of 2000.
With the legislative elections of 2001, AFP gains 303.150 votes, that is to say 16,1%, and obtains 11 seats out of the 120 which counted then the National Assembly of Senegal.
AFP is one of the parties having chosen the Boycott at the time of the legislative elections of 2007.
Orientation
It is a left party of . AFP has like explicit objectives “the conquest of the capacity by the way of the vote; the development of Senegal in the plans cultural, economic and social; integration under regional and regional in West Africa and the construction of the African unit”.

A white flag crossed by a green band is its emblem.
