Allgäu

The Allgäu is a territory extending to south-west from the Souabe (Bavaria) like in a small portion of south-east of the Bade-Wurtemberg.

The the Alps d' Allgäu belong to the chain of the Vorarlberg, between the Alps the Tyrol iennes, the Lech and the Lac of Constancy, and gives its name to the surrounding country which formerly belonged to the Souabe: Memmingen, Kempten, Kaufbeuern was the principal cities.

It is subdivided in four areas:

Oberallgäu
Unterallgäu
Ostallgäu
Westallgäu
