Allen clan
The Clan Allen can rather accurately recall its ancestors until the 15th century. Its origins are partly Breton and its first written references were found in England and Scotland. However, much of Allen are also of Irish origin. Finding its roots in the nicknames Allan or Ailin ; “ Ail ” wanting to say “ pierre ” in Gaelic and thus “ Little Rock ” (“ small pierre ” in French).
The family currency is “ Strong and Faithful ” (“ Extremely and fidèle ”)
