All History

All the History is a Television channel French set of themes devoted to the documentary histories.

History of the chain

the Chain History is created in April 1996, during the launching of the range of satellite channels AB Sat, like the French variation of the British chain éponyme The History Chanel of which it shares the logo and the programs.

Following the creation of the chain History by France Television and Sept-ARTE in 1997, AB Groupe renames its chain All the History in 1998 to avoid any confusion with it and changes preparing, thus breaking any analogy with its British model.

After rumors of sale of the chain by AB Groupe beginning 2006, it finally remained in the bosom of the group with an exclusiveness in diffusion satellite on CanalSat.

Its main competitor is Histoire, chain of the Groupe TF1.
