Alix of Luxembourg
Born on August 24th 1929 with the castle from Colmar-Berg, Alix of Luxembourg , girl junior by the large-duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg and Felix of Bourbon-Parma, is the aunt of the current large-duke Henri, who reigns since 2000 on the Grand-Duché.
With her brothers and sisters, it passes a peaceful childhood to the castle of Colmar-Berg until the arrival of the German to the Grand Duchy in 1940. For the large-ducal family, it is the beginning of a five years exile between the Portugal, the the United States, the Great Britain and the Canada. Their return in 1945 is triumphal.
In 1950, Alix marries with Luxembourg Its Highness Prince Antoine of Line (1925-2005), resulting from a Belgian noble family, but also pilot of the Royal Air Force during the Second world war and member of a seventeen months scientific exhibition in the Antarctic. The couple settles with the castle of Belœil in Belgium and will have seven children and ten grandchildren:

- Anne (born in 1954), divorced Olivier Mortgat,
- Christine (born in 1955), wife of Her Imperial and Royal Highness the Prince Antoine of Orleans-Bragance,
- Sophie (born in 1957), divorced the Count Philippe de Nicolay,
- Lamoral (born in 1959), husband of the Countess Minthia de Lannoy,
- Yolande (born in 1964), wife of Hugo Townsend.
The Alix princess of Line becomes, for the first time, great-grandmother on July 5th, 2006 with the birth of the baron Antoine Gilles de Pélichy, wire of the baron Baudouin Gilles de Pélichy and the princess Elisabeth de Ligne, who carries the first name of her great-grandfather deceased earlier one year.
