Alive Brittany - Company for the study and protection of nature in Brittany

alive Brittany , called the Company for the study and protection of nature in Brittany (SEPNB), is a founded association in 1958 at one time when the ecology concerned yet only some initiates.

She played a precursory part by creating ornithological reserves on the littoral. Its sphere of activity was quickly extended to all the problems of defense of the Environnement being posed on all five department of the " historical Brittany ".

It counts today approximately 45 paid, 3.000 members and manages a network of more than one hundred protected sites including five Natural reserves of State. It publishes three reviews: Alive Brittany (bi-annual), rear PEN Bed (quarterly), Hermine roves (quarterly).
