Alisport Silent
The Alisport Silent is a Planeur extra-light single-seater Italian.
Origin
In 1988 FAI launched the program “Classe World”, intended to produce a single apparatus to put all the pilots on the same equal footing, but also an apparatus inexpensive and easy to control, therefore favourable with the development of the world gliding. It is for this program that Walter Mauri, manufacturer of Deltaplane S eager to pass to the gliding but economic range and of easy use, developed in 1992 Dream, a light ultra sailplane which frankly did not give the anticipated results. FAI chose PZL PW-5, but Walter Mauri persisted. A second prototype was definitely more satisfactory and interested an Italian company of plastic products whose section glides cotoyait Walter Mauri. The company Alisport was thus born to produce mini-sailplanes and developed a family of extra-light sailplanes using all the same fuselage.
