Alienware

Alienware Corporation is an American company of Computer material having the reputation to d´offrir last technologies available for the portables and the computers specialized for audio and video l´édition, particularly in the field of the Video games. The company, founded in 1996, is based with Miami and is a branch of Dell.

The Alienware computers are recognizable by their logo representing a head of extraterrestrial.

History

According to employees, the name Alienware was selected thanks to the leaning one which had Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila (founders of the company) for the televised series X-Files. Consequently the names of their products are derived from the series like Area 51 or MJ-12. In the beginning, Alienware was established in order to take an important place in the market of the high performance computers, but the leaders very quickly realized that undertaken to them could not worry the large companies of manufacture of PC such as Dell, they thus reconverted their production by melting a OEM and by selling machines assembled with the most powerful components according to the will of the customer.
