Alicia Molik

Alicia Molik (born the January 27th 1981 with Adelaide) is a player of Tennis Australia, Professionnel since 1996.

After a relatively regular progression, it carries out in 2004 the best season of its career: in addition to a bronze medal with the Olympic Games of Athens, it gains three tournaments into simple over the circuit WTA (of which the Open of Zurich).

Quarter of finalist to the Open of Australia in January 2005, it becomes 8th world in February. The continuation of its season is however wasted by a virus with the Internal ear; with the end of the year, she sees herself forced to put her sporting career between brackets.

Of return to the compétion in May 2006, she pains to find her best level, obtaining her most significant results in the tests of double.

Alicia Molik to date counts five titles into simple to its prize list and seven into double ladies - of which the Open of Australia in 2005 and Roland-Garros in 2007, respectively associated with Svetlana Kuznetsova and Mara Santangelo.
