Alice Wu
Alice Wu (伍思薇), born with San Jose in California, is a Réalisatrice and American Scénariste of Cinéma.
Biography
Alice Wu was born and grew in San Jose in California, before studying with Los Altos. In 1990, it receives a Bachelor off Arts in Informatique with the Université of Stanford, then a Masters in 1992. She works a time at Microsoft with Seattle where she conceives Logiciel S. She leaves then her employment to devote herself to the cinema full-time.In 2001, the scenario of its film Saving Face , inspired of its own experience of Lesbian in the Chinese community - American, a price of the CAPE gains (Coalition off Asian Pacifics in Entertainment). Saving face is noticed in the homosexual Communauté.
In 2007, its new project of film, Foreign Babes in Beijing (left envisaged in 2008), is based on the test of Rachel DeWoskin: foreign in Beijing .
