Ali Amini

Ali Amini علیامینی is a politician Iran IEN born with Teheran in 1905 and died in Paris in 1992. He was Prime Minister of Iran of the May 6th 1961 with the July 19th 1962.

Genealogy

Connected with the dynasty Qadjar, he is the grandson of Mozaffaredin Shah by his mother and of Mirza Ali Khan Amin-ED-Dowleh by his father. He is also the nephew of Mohammad Ali Shah and the cousin of Ahmad Shah.

Biography

Ali Amini carried out his studies with Dar-ol Fonoun then in France, where it obtained a diploma in right of the university of Grenoble as well as a doctorate in economy to Paris.

He was minister at the 37 years age in the cabinet of Ahmad Ghavam. Its pro-American tendencies displeased to the Shah. Mohammad Reza Shah was wary of his popularity and its friendship with John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

During the Years 1950, the American pressure on the Shah to name Ali Amini at the post of Prime Minister was being accentuated. It was named at this station in 1961. It was however replaced in 1962 by a landowner of Birjand which was a close relation of the Shah: Asadollah Alam .

At the end of the Years 1970, Ali Amini returned on the Iranian political scene as an adviser of the Shah at the time of the final period of the Dynastie Pahlavi.
