Treatment
There does not exist curative treatment of this affection; only the Calcitonine (which is a hormone) is not constantly effective on the intensity of the pain. However, since April 2005, this one does not have any more the AMM in this indication and there does not exist any more the therapeutic specific one to this affection.
The treatment recommended is primarily antalgic because any excess of pain (nociception) increase the intensity and the duration of the disease. The first measure to be taken is the rest of the member reached.
There exist treatments which make it possible to mitigate the pain of the patient temporarily:
- the anti-pains (medical regulation, monocrixo, rivotril, etc…)
- the antidepressants (medical regulation. .laroxyl. .etc)
- the lyrica (the neurontin replaces because less side effects)
- blocks with the Réserpine
- the Kinésithérapie always without pains
- the medullary stimulation which, in certain cases, can relieve the pain.
- the electrotherapy.
- Cryothérapie
Each patient answers the treatments suggested differently… Do not hesitate to consult a center anti-pain.
