Alfred Pfalzgraf
Alfred Pfalzgraf (1931-2002) was a Alsatian Politician, general adviser of the the Low-Rhine and mayor of Niederbronn-the-Baths.
A man who will have marked the destiny of Niederbronn and his close area, with the service of which it was engaged since 1971, as a city council man. Followed three mandates of mayor, 1977 to 1995 and general adviser, 1978 to 1998. During two good decades, he will have also exerted many other responsibilities. Inter alia those of president of the inter-commune charter of development and installation of the canton of Niederbronn-the-Baths, C.A.U.E (council of architecture, of town planning and environment), association of the mayors of the forest communes of the Low-Rhine, Haut-Rhin and the Moselle. At the national level he was vice-president of the board of directors of the ONF (national office of the forests) and member of the steering committee of the national federation of the forest communes of France. Very many distinctions and medals rewarded its merits, one will quote the medal of money of Youth and sports, the Palms academic and the chivalric insignias in, Knight in the National order of the Merit and the agricultural Chevalier of the Legion of Honor Order of Merit. Married in 1952 in Marcelle Guiot (1928-2000), it had three children, Pierre (1952), Claire-Dye stick (1958) and François (1965).
