Alfred Hermann Fried
Alfred Hermann Fried (born in 1864 - died in 1921 with Vienna) was journalist Austrian, which militated in favor of peace, in the years which preceded the First World War, which was worth to him, in 1911, the attribution of the Nobel Prize of peace.
Biography
Alfred Hermann Fried is a former bookseller and a journalist. He founds the review “ Die Friendens-Warte ”, which militates in favor of the pacifist theories. He exiles in Suisse during the First World War. He jointly receives with Tobias Asser the Nobel Prize of Peace in 1911. He was Franc-maçon.
