Alfred Bohrmann

Alfred Bohrmann (February 28th 1904 - January 4th 2000) was a German Astronome .

He supported his thesis of doctorate in 1927 with the Landessternwarte Heidelberg-Königstuhl (Observatoire of Königstuhl located close to Heidelberg) of the Université of Heidelberg.

At the time, the observatory of Heidelberg was an important center of discovered Astéroïde S, in particular by max Wolf and Karl Reinmuth, and during its stay, Bohrmann discovered several asteroids there.

Bohrmann worked at the observatory of 1924 with 1969. The asteroid (1635) Bohrmann is named according to him.
