Alexis Millardet
Pierre Marie Alexis Millardet , born with Montmirey-the-City the December 13rd 1838 and died in Bordeaux the December 15th 1902, is a French Ampélographe and botanist.
After studies with and with Besancon Pares, then at the universities of Heidelberg and Freiburg-in-Brisgau in Germany, he taught the Botanique with the Université of Nancy in 1870, then in 1876 with the Faculty of Science of Bordeaux and largely contributed to make known the Bouillie of Bordeaux with the wine growers.
