Alexis Eugene Thuriot of Rosière
Alexis Eugene Thuriot of Rosière, born with the Tileries, close Sézanne (the Marne), on December 10th, 1807, is deceased with Connantre (the Marne) on August 30th, 1876.
Wire of famous conventional which chaired the national Convention on Thermidor 9, it followed his father exiled in Belgium under the Restauration and took share with the public affairs only after the Révolution of July.
Secretary of legation with Bern 1831, with the Brazil 1833, $the Hague 1838, it was in 1842 in charge of a temporary mission in Spain. First embassy secretary to Turin in 1843; he was person in charge with Rome the following year and went back to Brazil as ambassador plenipotentiary in 1846.
The revolution of February found it minister with the Mexico, where its short passage left a durable trace in this colony.
When Mr. of Lamartine was with the businesses, it offered a place to him which it refused.
In 1849, it was presented for the legislative Parliament in the district of Sézanne; elected official appointed by 36.230 votes it sat at the right-sided at the assembly. December 2nd arrived, Mr. of Rosière returned in the private life and for always.
