Alexeï Nicolaïevitch Tolstoï [[Cyrillic]: АлексейНиколаевичТолстой] (January 10th 1883, or on December 29th, 1882 in the Julien calendar - February 23rd 1945) is a Russian writer, author of historical novels, of which Pierre Large the .
It is in particular known to have published in 1936 an adaptation of Pinocchio in very famous Russian: the small gold key or adventures of Bouratino which gave place to well-known film adaptations in Russia and Eastern Europe. He is also the author of the novel of Science-fiction, Aelita, adapted to the cinema in 1924.
Following the Soviet revolution of 1917, Tolstoï which has the title of count chooses the exile towards the Germany then the France. It returns in Union of the Soviet socialist republics in 1923, supports the Socialist government and approaches the Communist party of the Soviet Union. Tolstoï will publish even texts with the glory of Joseph Stalin.
