Alexandre () is a Tyran of the town of Phères in Thessalie, famous by its cruelties.
It succeeds his uncle Jason de Phères with the assassination of this one in 370. It tries to maintain the influence of Phères on Thessalie but runs up against Thèbes and its generals Pélopidas and Épaminondas. Towards 367, it controls nothing any more but Phères and Thessalie Southerner. In 364, it is overcome by Pélopidas (which is killed in the battle) with Cynoscéphales. Alexandre de Phères makes his tender with Thèbes then.
Odious with all, he is assassinated in 358 on the initiative of his wife Thébé.
