Alexandre de Laflotte (1766-1794) was charged, under the French revolution, of the businesses of the French Republic with Florence, but was expelled in October 1793.

Of return in France it was suspecté and imprisoned. He proposes his services like “indicator” with the Comité of general security. After the fall of Maximilien de Robespierre the Thermidor 9 Year II (July 27th 1794), it tried to be justified in a publication but was not very convincing on its role in the business of the Conspiration of the prisons.
