Alexandre Stuart (duke of Rothesay)
Alexandre Stuart (October 16th 1430 - 1430), Duke of Rothesay, was heir apparent with the throne to Scotland.
He was the fifth child, but first wire of Jacques I {{er}} of Scotland and Jeanne Beaufort. He had a twin brother, Jacques.
The title of Duc of Rothesay is allotted to the heir apparents to the throne of Scotland, it thus receives this title with its birth. Alexandre dies in the year, and his/her twin brother becomes Jacques II of Scotland in 1437. The twins were born with the Palais from Holyrood, with Edinburgh.
