Alexandre Sidorenko
Alexandre Sidorenko is a player French of Tennis born the February 18th 1988 with Saint-Petersbourg in Russia, which arrived to France at the 4 years age and was naturalized in 2000.
Biography
Alexandre Sidorenko is the son of Valéry Sidorenko, former trainer of famous Handball in Russia (he was the trainer the Russian team Olympic champion of handball), come to France in 1992 to involve the US Ivry whereas Alexandre was only four years old. Accustomed to the requirements of the high level sport, this father knew to inculcate in his son the rigor which the success in this field requires.
So Alexandre appears, in spite of his young age, as a phenomenon tennistic within sight of the performances which it already carried out in his young career. Winner of the championships of France of the 13-14 years in 2002 and of the 15-16 years in 2004, the young wonder carried out in 2005 a formidable triplet - that only Loïc Courteau had succeeded before (1978, 1980 and 1981) - while asserting himself at the 17-18 years whereas it was only “first year. ” This same year, he moreover became vice-champion of Europe juniors.
The January 29th 2006, Alexandre Sidorenko gained the tournament junior of the Open of Australia, becoming the fifth French player to register his name with the prize list after Georges Goven (1965), Julien Jeanpierre (1998), Clément Morel (2002) and Gaël Monfils (2004).
In January 2007, not qualified for the Open of Australia because of his current classification, Alexandre tried to arrive at the final table while passing by the qualifications, but was beaten with the first turn by the American Wayne Odesnik ( 6-1, 6-3 ).
