Alexandre Prémat

Alexandre Prémat , born the April 5th 1982 with Juvisy-sur-Orge (France), is a racing driver French.

Biography

After several years of karting, Alexandre Prémat passes to the automobile sport in 2000, in the championship of Formule Campus. In 2001, it disputes the championship of France of Formule Renault, which it gains in 2002. In 2003, it integrates the rows of the new championship Formule 3 Euroseries, where in spite of a regular presence in the foreground during two seasons, it does not manage to take down the title.

In 2005 and 2006, it disputes the championship of GP2 Series on behalf of the stable ART Grand Prix (Co-directed by Nicolas Todt), where in spite of beautiful performances, it undergoes successively the law of his fellow-members Nico Rosberg then Lewis Hamilton. At the time of the winter 2005-2006, it also takes part in the broad domination of the team of France in the championship A1 Grand Prix.

In September 2006, at the time of the GP of China, it carries out its beginnings in Formule 1 as a pilot of Friday on behalf of the stable MF1 - Toyota.

In 2007, it controls in DTM for Audi, but, implied in a spectacular pile-up at the beginning of the first sleeve of the season with Hockenheim, is wounded with the lumbar ones. Obliged to declare fixed price for the following test, it carries out its return at the time of the sleeve of Lausitz. It also took part in the 24 hours of Mans 2007 at the wheel of the official third Audi R10, but without being able to take the wheel in race following the premature exit ramp of its fellow-member Mike Rockenfeller.
