Alexandre Noll
Sculptor and wood engraver. Born with Rheims, 87, rue Lesage, on May 19th, 1890, deceased with Fontenay-Aux-Roses on November 30th, 1970. Alexandre Henri Noll, wire of caretakers, a family originating in Alsace, after having been Tisserand and bank clerk, created during 50 years of the pieces of furniture and the abstract exotic wood sculptures. He regularly took part in the Salon of the Artist-decorators, of which he was member in 1939, then to the Salon of New Realities since 1946. He is represented with the Musée of Modern art of Paris. An exposure as of its works took place in Rheims with the end of the year 1973.
