Alexandre Mare (1979 -) is a editor French.
Born in 1979 in an artistic medium and arts person, it is very quickly thorough to follow the same way. It makes a first exposure to 16 years with the Gallery Alessandro Vivas and is encouraged by Gerard Delsol. It meets Roland Sirletti, Sollers, Patrick Amine, Yann Andréa, Pierre Bourgeade, Claude Simon… It dries the courses and learns how to drink with the Flora.
It exposes several times, carries out filmed talks and films around the war of 14-18.
After studies of Philosophy, History of art and to have made the Art schools, it creates in 2001, its first publisher, the Éditions Thélès . It publishes amongst other things Mario Vargas Llosa, Roger Curel, Marcel Séguier, Gerard Laprie.
Two years later, it launches two new publishers, Mare and Martin , with university vocation and Locus Solus , specialized in the art books (Overflow, Michel de Broin, Michel Aubry, Sophie Deleporte), then the official one of the Galleries , magazine on the art galleries and the museums.
In addition to its activity of editor, it dealt a long time with the museum George Sand with Gargilesse, and published many articles on Sand, the political history of the 19th century and the Contemporary art. It took an active and militant share with the reform of the schools of art in France in 2000.
He is today young consultant with the Economic and Social Council.
