Alexandre Jardin

Alexandre Jardin (April 14th 1965 with Neuilly-sur-Seine -) is a writer and a Cinéaste French.

Biography

He is the son of Pascal Jardin, writer and Scénariste and the grandson of Jean Jardin (1904/1976), politician, 3eminence grise of Pierre Laval. He has 2 brothers and a half sister. He Marie at the 23 years age and has five children, of which elder Hugo Jardin, 16 years, singer with success of the Parisian group Malaparts.

He writes at 20 years its first novel, heading Bille at the head (1985) (price of the 1st Novel in 1986). He obtains in 1986 his diploma of Sciences Po. He is realizer of several films whose Bille at the head or Fanfan, but also was, at the time chronicler with the Figaro.

In 1988 it receives the Fémina price for its book: The zebra. Work which will be adapted to the cinema by Jean Poiret in 1992 (with Thierry Lhermitte in the main role).

He was literary chronicler for Canal+ in the emission Nowhere elsewhere (with Philippe Gildas and Antoine de Caunes).

As a writer, his main themes are the love with the Feydeau and the Pédagogie. It approaches the fear of monotony and the renewal of the first flame in love. A noticed characteristic, filled with wonder children are often put in scene.

In 1999, it is at the origin of the creation of association " To see and make lire" with the journalist Pascal Guénée.

In 2002, it continues its associative engagement with the creation of association " Thousand Mots" for which the voluntary reprocessed ones intervene in prison.

In 2004 it writes a series of works bound for the teenagers, Coloriés .
