Alexandre Ier de Moldavie
Alexandre Ier the Good , or Alexandru concealment Bun , (1400 - January 1st 1432) is the prince of Moldavie of 1400 to 1432

Biography
He is wire of Roman Ier the Autocrat ( Roman Autocratul ), his mother is a cousin of the king of Poland. He succeeds the April 23rd 1400 his brother, Juga Estropié ( Iuga Stropitul ), and is favorable to a narrow alliance with Poland.
A treaty concluded in 1412 recognizes the rights of the Poland on Moldavie. In May 1426, Alexandre grants a safe conduct to the Polish troops which cross the Moldavie to go to fight the Turks.
He concludes a treaty with the Hungary in Lublau, the March 15th 1412.
He founds the évêchés orthodoxe ones of Roman and Rǎdǎuṭi. He makes build the monasteries of Bistriţa, Moldoviţa, Capriana and Varzareşti, and allots important dependences to them.
He makes come to high expenses from Trébizonde the relics from Jean New ('' Ioan concealment Nou '') the, killed by the Tatars in 1310, and the fact of depositing in 1400 with Suceava in the Mirauti church, which was the cathedral of the first métropolite of Moldavie. Jean the New one becomes the owner of the Bucovine.
Prosperity attracts many craftsmen and merchants. Peasants Sicules and Valaques of Transylvania are established on the fields of the noble Moldavians. Increase in the catholics constrained the prince to found one évêché catholic with Baia about 1413.
Alexandre creates two évêchés orthodoxe subordinates with the métropolite, that of Low-Moldavie, whose seat is Roman, and that High-Moldavie whose residence is the monastery of Rǎdǎuţi.
March 5th, 1431, the catholic bishop of Baia informs the bishop of Cracow that Hussite S, refugees of Hungary and of Poland, are present at Bacău, and that Alexandre shows itself tolerating in their connection.
In spite of many donations made with the Boyard S, those continue to want to increase their influence in the State. These tendencies develop towards the end of the reign of Alexandre.
Alexandre dies on January 1st 1432.
