Alexandre Hébert (born in 1921) is a anarchist-trade unionist, free-thinker, French rationalist. Wire of a trade unionist CGT. with communist sympathy but having voluntarily left the PCF. Secretary of the Departmental union of Loire-Atlantique of CGT-FO of 1947 with 1992. Editor of the Anarchist-trade unionist with his Maïté partner.

Biography

Alexandre Hébert “returns in policy” as of his more young age, diffusing the photographs of the kolkhoz in flower of the publications of the Association the France-USSR. He breaks with the Stalinisme as of the first Procès of Moscow, he integrates youths of the SFIO where he militates with the Pivertiste S of the Gauche revolutionist (making there adhere his/her buddy of then Robert Harrowing) and federal leader of the JS at 15 years finds itself.

This political training, on a bottom of Popular front, war of Spain and development of the “logic of war”, brings it to the Anarchisme to which there will remain faithful. It enters then to the railroads to Sotteville-the-Rouen, CAPE of metal worker out of pocket, and between with the C.G.T. It quickly takes responsabilities in its section. It disturbs the leaders of this power station, especially when it denounces the Pacte germano-Soviet, and this so much in Sotteville than with Nantes where it will be transferred after the war, which will make known to him STO in Germany in Bavaria. It will benefit from a permission not to set out again in Germany.

He is a craftsman of the scission of CGT. He will direct the Departmental union Loire-Atlantique of the General confederation of Work Working force during more than forty years.

In 1960, Alexandre Hébert and Joachim Salamero are on the initiative of a Union of the anarchist-trade unionists (UAS) to which take part several very active militants of the anarchistic Fédération, Salamero being then responsible for its internal Bulletin. The UAS will cease being in odor of holiness in the libertarian movement in 1969, following declarations of Alexandre Hébert comparing Daniel Cohn-Bendit with Hitler.

Initially, the lambertist S of the UAS, such Salamero, take their distances with Hébert. In 1970, under the pressure of young recruits resulting from May 1968, a fusion enters the UAS and Alliance trade unionist (composed of adherent libertarians with various trade unions reformists) occurs. Marginalized, of the lambertists leave the ship and start to publish a bulletin entitled “ For us the combat continues ”.

In 1975, the UAS of Alexandre Hébert reappears of his ashes and, in 1996, this organization anarchist-trade unionist officially adheres to the International understanding workers (the International lambertist). One finds among his active members Joachim Salamero, Joel Bonnemaison, etc

At a few days of May 1981, it qualified in a leading article of the West trade unionist François Mitterrand of “petainist”. He will admit however in public, later, to regret it, have voted Mitterrand with the second turn in the hope that this last would call into question the institutions of the Ve République.

In 1992, his/her son Patrick Hébert succeeds to him as Secrétaire of the Departmental union of Loire-Atlantique of CGT-FO. He is also member of the central committee of the Parti the workers.

In October 1999 an article of the Monde signed Christiane Chombeau learns that Hébert had had as a right-hand man with the head of its departmental union a friend of Jean-Marie Le Pen, Joel Bonnemaison, person in charge departmental of the National front in the years 1970, then at the central committee of this party in 1976. At the time of its first marriage its witnesses were Hébert and Le Pen. In 1999 the newspaper of the FN French initially published in a September issue of a discussion with Alexandre Hébert.
