Organist and Type-setter French born with Arras the February 25th 1850 and dead the January 18th 1938 with Paris.

Biography

He studies with the École Niedermeyer of Paris then becomes professor of harmony there. He occupies various posts of organist in the Parisian churches: Saint-Clotilde and as from 1899 in Saint-Vincent de Paul.

It owes notoriety with the melodies which it writes on poems of Jean Richepin: Songs of Miiarka and the Songs of Leilah . He is a professor of very required organ and it was interested much, as a type-setter, with the Opera.
