Alexandre Blok
Alexandre Blok is a Russian Poète born with Saint-Pétersbourg the November 28th 1880 and dead the August 7th 1921.
Biography
Born in Saint-Pétersbourg in an easy family, Alexandre Blok had as a father a law professor with Warsaw and a maternal grandfather vice-chancellor of the university of Saint-Pétersbourg. After the separation of his parents, he attended the aristocratic world in the manor of Shakhmatovo, close to Moscow, where he discovered the philosophy of his uncle Vladimir Solovyov as well as the poets of the 19th century such as Fiodor Tiouttchev and Afansy Fet. He drew there the influence for his first part.He fell in love with Lyuba Mendeleeva (girl of the large chemist) which he married in 1903. This relation was gradually put at evil for various reasons. Consequently it carried out a tumultuous private life, often attending prostitutes.
In the maze of its emotional life, it blackens many tinted pages of symbolism, which did of them one of the leaders of the movement Symbolist in Russia. Towards the end of its life, it was interested ingenuously in the policy, attending the Bolsheviks, but its lack of engagement will tarnish its reputation and it will sink in the depression to die, says one, of the famine caused by the civil war (this thesis is sometimes discussed).
Its most famous work is the poem the Twelve , which was the subject of many French translations.

predicts It fatal death,- the anathema of the crowned laws,
And the insult made with happiness.

And your force is irresistible,
- I affirm it with the rumor:
You made déchoir angels- Pris with the trap of your beauty…
- I affirm it with the rumor:
-
And when you scoff the faith,
Above your head, suddenly,- Luit, pale, the circle gray-crimson
Which I saw shining formerly.
-
Malicious? Good? You are different.
- One says to you with erudite words:
For aucuns, you are MUSE and miracle.- And for me torment and hell.
