Alexandra Fuller
Alexandra Fuller , born in 1969 in England, is a African écrivaine of European origin .
Its first book, Don' T Let' S Go to the Dogs Tonight , tells its childhood in a farm in Rhodesia (today Zimbabwe). After the Second Chimurenga, the war between the White and the Blacks for the control of the country, Fuller moved with the Malawi, then in Zambia.
The book accepted the price Mémorial Winifred Holtby in 2002, was a Notable Book prestigious newspaper NewYork Times the same year, and was also finalist of the First Book Award of the Guardian of London.
Its second book, Scribbling the Cat , was published in 2004. It accepted the price Lettre Ulysses of Journalisme in 2006.
Fuller is titular of a license of the Université of Acadie of Nova Scotia to the Canada. It met her American husband Charlie Ross in Zambia, where he managed a company of Rafting. They moved with the Wyoming in 1994, where they currently live with their three children.
