Alexandr Alexeïevitch Bondar

Alexandr Alexeïvitch Bondar was a fighter pilot and Soviet As of the Second world war, holder of the title of Héros of the Soviet Union.

Career

Born with Zmeiskaya , meadows of Severosetinskaya , the September 2nd 1922, it engaged in the Red Army in 1941 and followed the courses of the military academy of the Air of Krasnodar.

Graduate controls in 1942, it was transferred to the 866.IAP (= regiment of air hunting), in which it made all the war. He finished this one with the rank of starshii leitenant (= lieutenant).

He remained in VVS (= Soviet Air forces) of post-war period and took his retirement in 1958.
