This list presents the left and political movements currently existing in France . This list is divided into three groups, the parliamentary parties, the nonparliamentary parties and the local and/or “regionalistic” parties. The political parties having disappeared are listed on this page.
the classification of certain political trainings to right, with the center, left, will be able to appear somewhat arbitrary: certain currents want to be “above” with “beyond” traditional political cleavages. Some holding of the Centrism, of the Gaullisme, the ecology policy, the Royalism, the Républicanisme, the Regionalism, the Libéralisme… intend “to transcend” the factions. Moreover, certain doctrines and ideologies can not easily classified.
