Alexander Payne

Constantine Alexander Payne , of its true name Alexandros Papadopoulos (February 10th 1961 -), is a Réalisateur and American Scénariste born with Omaha (Nebraska).

Biography

Graduate of history and Spanish literature to the University of Stanford, it is also titular of a control of cinema (UCLA). Its short film of end of studies, The Passion off Martin , is presented in 1991 to the Festival of independent film of Sundance.

Payne carries out its first feature-length film in 1996, Citizen Ruth , of which he is also coscenarist. Turned to Omaha, its birthplace, this satirical comedy is worth with its main actor, Laura Dern, the price of interpretation to the Festival of Montreal.
