Alexander Chivadze

Alexander Gabrielovitch Tchivadze (born the September 8th 1955) is old a Football or georgien (defender) which played for the team of the USSR (46 selections and 3 goals between 1980 and 1987).

This player of 1,82m for 77kg, recognizable with his moustache, was the libéro of the Soviet team at the time of the Mundial 1982 in Spain.

In club, he played for the Dinamo Tbilissi with which he gained the Coupe of the cuts in 1981 and a championship of the USSR in 1978.

He was elected better footballer of the USSR in 1980 by the weekly magazine " Football".

After its career of Tchivadze player became trainer in particular of the selection géorgienne of 1993 to 1997 and 2001 to 2003.
