Alexander Cadogan

Honourable the Sir Alexander George Montagu Cadogan (1884 - 1968) was a British civil servant .

Biography

Educated with Eton, Alexander Cadogan was under-secretary of state to the foreign affairs of 1938 with 1946, delegated to the Conférence of Dumbarton Oaks in 1944, member of the Privy Council in 1946, ambassador of the United Kingdom to the the United Nations of 1946 with 1950 and chair BBC of 1952 1957, year of its retirement.
