Alex Taylor
Alex Taylor is a Journaliste and Radio presenter and of British television working in France. He is known in this country to have presented the emission Continentales to the beginning of the Années 1990, compilation of European tv news diffused in subtitled Original version.
Previously in the Years 1980, it had been one of the founding members of the first version of the free radio Merry Fréquence between 1981 and 1986. In 1984, it passes for the first time to France Inter, in the emission Téléscopages of Philippe Meyer, for then animating some daily programs, and of the sections of the Oreille in corner . In parallel, it earns its living as an English reader at the universities of Paris X and XII like with the National university.
To the beginning of the Years 1990, it presents and produces for television the emission Continentales on FR3. It introduced there the vocabulary of reports of European tv news and anglophone televised series, all diffused in Original version subtitled (in particular Bowler hat and leather boots and Golden delicious Girls). From there, it acquires a certain notoriety near the public.
After Continental , and a last year with ARTE with Confetti , he becomes director of the programs of Radio France international. He will also make during 5 years the European press review every morning on France Inter.
In 1999, it bases its own production company Continental Connection which produces in particular the series Europuzzle , on the national identity in Europe, preceded in Ithèmes 2001 (better cultural emission on the Net and satellite in France). It animated of 2000 to 2006 Vivre in Europe on the Parliamentary chain.
Alex Taylor also presented the election of Mr. Bear France which it carried out entirely in English AND French Alexandrine.
Since October 2005, out of the European set of themes, it presents Élevons the debate on Pink TV.
It in addition animates conferences and conventions of companies, more than 300 to date, in particular thanks to its knowledge of 6 European languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch.
It publishes at Lattes (October 2007) Journal of a perverse apprentice or it exposes its memories gay. It is present on many sites of dialog and there remains very open. It takes part in living room SIGL or it will dedicate its book on the stand MIF
