Alex Türk
Alex Türk is a politician French born the January 25th 1950 with Roubaix. He is senator of the department of the Northern (Nord-Pas-de-Calais) and chair CNIL. Former member of the RPR, it resigns on September 4th, 1992 of his party and is now labelled various right-hand side. He is married and has four children.
Alex Türk followed a legal formation: he is doctor in Droit. He is also graduate higher learning of public law and political sciences. In 1978, it is parliamentary Assistant, elected at the municipal council and named first assistant of the mayor of Marcq-in-Barœul in 1983. In March 1983, he is elected at the district council of the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais and is re-elected at this station on March 16th 1986. In 1985, it becomes University lecturer in public law to the Faculty of Law of the Université of Lille II. It is part-time lecturer at the institute of studies of political sciences of Lille of 1991 to 1994. Of 1989 with 1995, it was city council man town of Lille.
He is also General adviser of North (canton: Lille-center)
He was elected Senator on September 24th 1992 and was re-elected on September 23rd 2001. He is Member of the senatorial Commission of the laws since 1992. He becomes vice-president of CNIL in 2002, then president since February 3rd 2004. He was also president of the controlling authority Schengen of 1995 to 1997, president of the Controlling authority common of the files of Europol of 2000 to 2002 and chair authority of EURODAC since December 2002.
He is also part-time lecturer to the Catholic Université of Lille.
