Alex Hoffmann , born the May 24th 1980 with Mindelheim, is a German pilot of Speed motor bike

biography

Beginning in the mechanical sports in Motocross, it carries out its first Grand Prix at the time of the Grand Prix of Germany 1997 in the category 125cc gràce with a “wild Card”. In 1998, it makes its beginnings in championship 250cc, category of which it obtains the same year the European title.

In 2002, it makes its first races in MotoGP, replacing first of all Garry McCoy at the TEAM Red Bull, then Loris Capirossi in the TEAM of Sito Pons. That grants to him the role of pilot tester at Kawasaki for the season 2003: it disputes however two races, finished both in the points.

Kawasaki changes its two pilots the following year and it occupies one of the two handlebars thus, the other failing Japanese Shinya Nakano. After two seasons marked by wounds, it joined Ducati in the satellite TEAM D' Antin Pramac. With the wound of Sete Gibernau at the time of the Grand Prix of Catalonia, it evolves/moves during two races with the official TEAM before finding the satellite TEAM for the end of the season.
