Alex Barbier
Alex Barbier (born on March 15th 1950 with Saint-Claude (the Jura)) is a Auteur of Cartoon and painter French.
After studies of art, he becomes professor of drawing, but the state education returns it because of its appearance considered to be too free.
It starts to publish cartoons in Charlie Mensuel in 1975. Realized with the direct Color, approaching crûment the Sexuality and resorting to a modern narration, they meet as well enthusiasm as the rejection.
Between 1982 and 1994, Alex Barbier devotes itself to the Peinture, then is allocated to the cartoon with the Landscapes of the night and Like a chicken without head , which seems influenced by the tables of Francis Bacon and the accounts of William Burroughs.
