Alessandro Melani (* 1639 with Rome - † 1703 with Pistoia) is a type-setter Italy N.

Biography

This Type-setter of Sacred music and Profane is member of a family of musician of Pistoia. It was Choirmaster Cathédrale S of Orvieto and Ferrare before replacing his Jacopo brother in Pistoia.

• 1667 : Holy-Marie-Major choirmaster to of Rome, grace partly to the influence of Atto near the Pope Clement IX.

• 1672 : Choirmaster to Saint-Louis-of-French during 26 years.
