Alessandro Galli da Bibiena or more simply Alessandro Bibiena (Parma, October 15th 1686 - Mannheim, May 5th 1748) is a scenographer and a Architecte Italy N, famous family of the Bibiena.

Biography

He was architect of the court of Karl III Philipp von der Pfalz in Mannheim, like his Ferdinando father, his uncle Francesco, his Antonio brothers and Giuseppe and its Carlo nephew also worked in Germany, Austria and Italy as architects and scenographers.

He undertook the construction of the Château of Mannheim and the church of the Jesuits of Mannheim. After the death of prince Charles Philippe, it projects under Charles Theodore of Bavaria the construction of the castle Schwetzingen in 1742. He however died before the completion of work.
