Alectryon

In the Greek Mythology, Alectryon (in Greek old “Cock”) is a young person beautiful young man.

One night, whereas Aphrodite misled her husband (Héphaïstos) with Arès, this last required of Alectryon to make the guet and to prevent it arrival of the day. Alectryon calms down and Hélios (Sun) entered the room of the lovers. Photogravure told all in Héphaistos and Arès punishes Alectryon by changing it into cock so that he forgets never again to announce the morning.
