In the Greek Mythology, Alecto (in Greek old Ἀληκτώ / Alêktố , “the Relentless”) is one of the Érinyes (or Furies at the Romains), sister of Tisiphone (the Avenger one of the murder) and of Mégère (the Jealous one). With Shrew, she shouts in the ears of human to make them insane.

She is, according to Hésiode, girl of Gaïa (Earth) fertilized by the blood of Ouranos (Sky) émasculé.

His/her father Pluton itself hates it; his/her sisters tartaréennes hate a similar monster, so much it takes figures, so much its aspect is always wild, so much its dark head swarms with snakes.
