Alec McCowen (born the May 26th 1925 -) is a Acteur Britannique.

After turnhaving turned much for British television, it obtains its first role in a film of great scale as a Q, in the independent James Bond Jamais never again ( Never Say Never Again , 1983). It appears then in particular in the Time of innocence (1993) and Gangs off New York (2002) of Martin Scorsese.
